Boaz Leleina comes from a small village  in Samburu, Kenya. Life there is traditional, with little exposure to technology. Things changed for Boaz at Ndururumo High School where he first used a computer. This sparked his love for technology and set him on a life-changing path.

Opportunity through MPOWER Financing and International Scholars Program

Boaz studied computer science at KCA University in Kenya but knew he wanted to take his education further. His postgraduate educational journey overseas became possible with the help of funding from MPOWER Financing and support through the International Scholars Program, an education financing platform assisting top postgrad students seeking to study abroad. These resources provided the support he needed to enroll in a master’s program at William Jessup University in Silicon Valley. Boaz accessed resources that helped him transition smoothly into his new academic life abroad.

MPOWER Financing is the leading fintech company empowering international students like Boaz to attend universities in the U.S. and Canada through loans, scholarships and its Path2Success program providing free access to exclusive career, visa and financial resources. Former international students founded MPOWER to help promising students from around the world study abroad.
