You can start the loan application online. Once you’ve started your application, you can log into the MPOWER Portal at any time to complete it or view updates on your application status.

Yes, you can apply for a loan if you’ve applied to a school. To be eligible to receive a loan, you must be accepted or enrolled in an MPOWER-eligible school. Start by checking your loan eligibility: Loan Eligibility

If your school isn’t on our list, you’re not eligible for an MPOWER student loan at this time. Our list of schools is always growing, so check back for updates. In the meantime please sign up for our newsletter for the latest updates, including those on new school additions. You can also visit IEFA.org to see if you’re eligible for other student loans.

We disburse your education loan funds directly to your school electronically via wire transfer or by physical check in the mail – whichever method your school requests.
