Social impact is at the heart of our business

We’re expanding access to education for the world’s highest-potential students – one international student loan at a time. We enable the doctors, lawyers, scientists, engineers, CEOs, and politicians of tomorrow to realize their full potential today.

Founded and operated by a dedicated group of global citizens

72% of MPOWER’s U.S.-based staff are either immigrants and/or belong to racial minority groups, which has helped MPOWER gain recognition as one of the most diverse organizations in the U.S.

3/4 of our employees are from countries outside of the U.S. The MPOWER team mirrors the diversity of its students and celebrates that diversity through shared recognition of life events and experiences.

MPOWER’s India-based employees collectively speak 28 languages and U.S.-based employees collectively speak 17 languages, facilitating diverse interactions and cultural depth.

Ten years of impact, ten years of growth

Here’s a glimpse of what we’ve learned along the way:

Funding is the biggest barrier for students seeking a global education
Our international student loans enhance campus geographic and socioeconomic diversity
Our international student loans are crucial for women in STEM fields
Our scholarships have created opportunities for international, DACA, and refugee students
